Staff will explain the hiring services provided, the screening and training options, as well as, the reimbursement specifics and then begin the registration process with the company representative right at the booth.

“Whether you are hiring a new employee or looking to retrain an existing employee, the application process is very simple. Our staff helps companies identify, screen and hire qualified individuals, as well as arrange for on the job training. We also help businesses with applications for customized incumbent worker training funding. We’ll be onsite at the Expo to explain exactly how the program works and how companies can begin taking advantage of what we offer,” stated Donnovan Beckford, Director of WPWDB.

WPWDB also invites businesses to join its sector partnerships in healthcare, biotech, hospitality, manufacturing, green, not for profit and professional services, which provide resources to promote and maintain the economic vitality of the organizations in each sector.
